The project of digitization and publication of inaccessible publications

During 2019, the Croatian History Museum realized a project of digitization and publication of inaccessible publications of the Croatian History Museum. The aim of the project was to enable constant availability and permanent preservation of the publishing activity of the Croatian History Museum. All publications selected for the project had to be published by the Croatian History Museum (ie the History Museum of Croatia or the Museum of the People's Revolution of Croatia). The selection criteria for the publications were: few copies (not available for sale; older, more sensitive publications), and usefulness of the content for the general public. By publishing digitized publications on its website http://www.hismus.hr/hr/izdavastvo/?page=9&autor=&naslov=&godina=&vrsta=, the Croatian History Museum has "revived" publications that are no longer available for sale, or can no longer be found outside the museum.
